People are always going to argue about what animal makes the best pet. According to Google, dogs and cats come in at the top. Typical. I disagree with Google. The world has been blind to see the most obvious, perfect, lovable pet of all, but I’ve seen it all along. Miniature fluffy cows are and forever will be the most superior pet.
Miniature fluffy cows are proved to be gentle, kind, and affectionate, according to current cow owners. They are often associated with having the same type of characteristics as a dog. Cows even have many characteristics that beat the common dog. Cows are extremely social, and as a herd animal, they love to be around other animals, especially other cows! You don’t even need a farm to have one of these perfect little creatures. Because they are miniature and easier to take care of, they can live right at your home, even in your home.
Now. You may be thinking “How easy could taking care of a cow be?” Let me tell you. There are three types of miniature cows. Midsize miniature cows can be 42 to 48 inches high at the hip. Standard mini cows are smaller, about 36 to 42 inches. Then there are micro-miniature cows, which can come in any smaller than 36 inches.
No matter what size, cows only need one acre per cow, but if you have more room, they always appreciate having friends. Cows also need lots of a fresh air and, of course, a cozy and safe three-sided shelter to protect them the weather and environment. (Unless they are cozied up next to you inside your own home) Cows also do not need large fences. As long as the fence is sturdy, your cow will be safe and protected from wondering into any outside harm.
Really the most hassle with having a pet cow is regular vet checkups. Like any other animal, however, if you are ready for the perfect pet match, you are expected to ensure their health. Cows need to receive vaccinations and parasite control.
If you have a pet, such as a dog, you may surprisingly spend more money on their grooming trips and food than you would a cow. If your land has good pasturage, hay only needs to be given to your cow as a supplement. If your land does not pass for good feeding, your cow will need feed hay twice a day. Fresh water should always be provided to your cow, and salt blocks should also be available. That’s about it!
As far as grooming goes, its recommended that your cow be as least rinsed off daily. Deep cleaning the cow every few days is very important to avoid any diseases or parasites. Cows often love a good scrub, so make sure to soap them up and brush them out!
All of that isn’t even the best part about cows. Cows can be potty trained. Yeah. That’s right. If you don’t want your cow going inside, they will moo their little happy selves outside to do their business(if they are taught correctly). It has been proven, by study, that it takes cows as little as 15 days to be potty trained, which is quicker than some toddlers!
Despite the lovability of cows and the fact that they are fairly low maintenance, they come with many other benefits too. With any type of cow, including mini ones, you can get milk to drink as well as butter and cheese.
The last thing most people want to hear about a pet is the cost. These miniature cows typically cost 1800 to 3500 dollars. However, many people pay anywhere from 50 to 2000 dollars for a dog. Would you rather have a pet with uncertain characteristics, like a dog or cat, or a guaranteed lovable match for years to come? I think you know the more reasonable answer to that question. Do yourself a favor, and get yourself a miniature fluffy cow.
