The Pittsburgh Christmas market is a great place to enjoy your evenings during the holiday season. There are many amazing small businesses that get a chance to shine at this month long event. Come take a day out of your break to take a look at the Pittsburgh Christmas market and all of the amazing shops you can visit. "I personally recommend the shop with the clothes and trinkets made with actual llama fur. It is kind of expensive, but it’s high quality."

Quintin Maizer, Writer
Quintin is a current senior at Norwin Highschool, impatiently waiting for the day of graduation. Additionally, he is a very excited first-year writer for the Knight Krier! As someone who’s always been enlivened by reading and the English language, Quintin hopes to major in English when he stumbles his way into to college next fall and can’t wait to have a career that revolves around it. When he’s not reading or writing, Quintin can be found chattering away with his online friends from hundreds of miles away or hanging out with his lazy and pampered cat, Elsa.
Liam Murphy, Writer
Liam is a first year writer at the Knight Krier and a senior at Norwin High School. They are also Vice President of the Knight Readers and President of the AEONS literary magazine staff. In their free time, they work at Shop n’ Save and enjoy watching movies and TV, reading, creative writing, and spending time with their family.

Elizabeth is a first-year Junior writer at Norwin High school. She is involved with the Norwin community as a WIRC member, model UN member and Newspaper Journalist.
Garrett Henning, Writer/Editor
Garrett is a senior at Norwin High School. He is a first-year writer for the Knight Krier. Henning plays for the lacrosse team at Norwin. He also serves as the vice president of the senior class. In the future, Garrett hopes to go to college for finance.
Finnian Cunning, Writer/Editor/Secretary/Treasurer
Finn is a sophomore at Norwin High School, and this is his first year as a part of the Newspaper Staff. He is the secretary and treasurer of the Knight Krier. Besides from newspaper, Finn is involved in the Chess Club and the History Club. Outside of school, he enjoys boxing at USS Fight Academy, watching basketball, fishing, camping, and hanging out with friends.
Theo Summers, Co-President
Theo is a second-year writer and a senior at Norwin High School. He is the co-President of the Knight Krier and is involved with the Stage Crew, Spanish Club, Global Scholars, NHS, and History Club. Outside of school, Theo tends to watch cartoons, work at Tropical Smoothie, and hang out with friends.
Grace Fleckenstein, Writer/Editor
Grace is a senior and the Co-President of the Knight Krier Newspaper. She is the President of the Knight Readers Club, Secretary of Envirothon, Secretary of Spanish Club and is also involved in Chess Club, FBLA, History Club, Interact Club, GSA, and the Global Scholars Program. On her own time, Grace enjoys reading, playing the piano, writing, and working at Panera with friends.
Miya Valecko, Writer/Editor
Miya is a second-year senior writer of the Knight Krier and Newspaper. She is largely involved with the Norwin High School Community as President of Honors Society Office, Global Scholars member, and Newspaper Journalist. This year, Miya enjoys spending the majority of her time organizing the annual Powderpuff event for the second year in a row. Some interesting facts about Miya is that she does powerlifting, scoops ice cream at her job, and loves cows! She prioritizes spreading the correct information about what is going on at Norwin so that the students and community are aware. Furthermore, Miya loves covering stories about Norwin Students’ accomplishments and does her best to make sure that important stories are recognized.
Joseph Cramer, Writer/Editor
Joe is a current junior at Norwin and is a second year writer for the Knight Krier. He plays soccer and runs track for the Knights. Joe is also a member of the global scholar program and is the junior class president. He likes to be involved with his community and volunteer when he can.
