Mia Harrison and her boyfriend Tyler Halloran pose for a fall photo session.

This is Mia Harrison and her boyfriend of 1 year and 3 months Tyler Halloran. “The story of how Ty and I met was actually so unexpected. Last school year we had the bomb threat from Bob Evans and we got to go home early, I’m sure everyone remembers that. My best friend drove me home to her house and our plan was to hangout since we got to go home early. My best friends boyfriend at the time asked if we wanted to meet up with him, his brother, and his best friend Tyler at Chick-Fil-A. My best friend and I agreed. When we got there I met Tyler. I never talked to him before nor my best friend’s boyfriend at the time, so it was a bit awkward.  I’m pretty outgoing so I tried not to make things weird. We went into the store, ordered our food, and sat down to eat. Ty and I began to talk separately from everyone else and from the first time we talked it was sparks. Once we started talking, we couldn’t stop. We just kept going on and on about things we’ve done in life. It was one of the best experiences ever. We ended up leaving but, Ty got my number so we could keep in touch. That night we didn’t talk too much, but about a week went by and he texted me on my birthday. The day after my birthday my best friend and her boyfriend decided to take Ty and I on a double date to Applebees. The same thing happened we continued to talk and talk. After that night we talked more and more. That’s pretty much it. As you could see it unexpected for us to meet let alone end up dating. But, I am so glad we met that day and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Alanna Neidigh and her boyfriend Jacob Dalessio pose for a selfi for Jake’s 17th birthday.

This is Alanna Neidigh and her boyfriend of 7 months, Jacob Dalessio. This is their story, “Our story is a little odd. We met through social media, I was live streaming when he joined my live stream and we kept talking through the comments and I thought it would make the most sense to just invite him to stream with me and we did, for 2 hours, we got bored of that and decided to exchange numbers when we did I was shocked to find out that he was from Pittsburgh, most of the time when I would stream people from other states would join so finding someone who was somewhat local was super cool. We FaceTimed and talked about our goals and what we hoped for the future. We talked for hours, and we eventually decided to hang up it was upsetting. We had so much in common and I didn’t expect to hear from him again. I was wrong. I woke up the next morning to a call from him and from that day we have FaceTimed basically every day. But fast forward to the good part… I left for a long vacation in Georgia before getting to meet him and I expected things to end but they didn’t we were still talking every day and we still would FaceTime while I was away. As soon as I came home I drove the hour away to finally meet him and we became official. We have had our bumps in the road but he makes me the happiest I have ever been.”

Megan Barry and her boyfriend Jacob Bazala pose for a winter photo shoot.

This is Megan Barry and her boyfriend of 5 months, Jacob Bazala. This is their story, “Jake and I met in the 8th grade during the musical. We became friends but weren’t close, and we didn’t get close until Mrs. Brentzel’s Honors English 10 class during sophomore year. We got extremely close junior year and actually I liked him since Snoball of junior year. But he was in a relationship and I was his best friend so I didn’t think he felt the same way about me as I felt about him. When he and his ex broke up it was hard for him so I was just there for him and being his friend. But me being supportive just let to us spending for time together and I began to fall fast. At the beginning of summer he really wanted to date me and I wanted to date him too but I was nervous because of college. So we didn’t make anything official and we just continued to hang out all summer long. I knew I loved him and had feel in love but didn’t want to say it. He actually said it first and it was just a random summer night at a fire he said it first and I was so happy when he did. Then school started and we still weren’t officially dating and I got nervous that we never would become official. But than we went to my camp with my family during labor day weekend and that weekend was when I knew for sure that I was in love with him. A couple days after labor day we made things official and have been happily together ever since.”

Victoria Gasparovic and her boyfriend Hunter Bennett pose with the butterfly filter for a cute Snapchat photo.

This is Victoria Gasparovic and her boyfriend of 3 years, Hunter Bennett. This is their story, “Me and my boyfriend met, on a school bus actually. This was my first year at a new school, I had moved to his bus because my bus before was too full. He was like the boss of the bus, he thought he owned the bus and one day I got mad because he was being mean to other kids on the bus and so I said something. Throughout the year, I had a seat that I sat in every single day, and someone took my spot in the middle of the year and Hunter yelled at him and stood up for me. Right there on that bus is where it all began. When I first met him, I thought he wasn’t that nice of a person, but then we got closer and closer and started a friend group and hung out all that summer and the summer after that. I knew when we got closer and closer that I wanted to be more than friends, he really grew on me, he was nice, caring and he seemed like he had the same feelings as me at the time. Then he got a girlfriend, and it wasn’t me haha. I stood by his side though because I knew one day he would choose me. Thankfully he did and he has changed my life for the better. I love every second that I spend with him. We have definitely have had a rocky relationship though, there is no hiding that we have been on and off. No relationship is perfect in my eyes, it’s about working on communication and trust with each other.  Our past relationship was very toxic; we both knew it. He decided that we need to take a long break and focus on ourselves. It would be the best thing for us. So we went our separate ways and tried to date different people. Now we have found our way back to each other and our relationship has never been better. We are way better than we were before. I truly do see this relationship working out and us creating a future together!”
