With spring quickly approaching, the search for the perfect prom dress will soon be underway. If you’re not looking to break the bank, the Junior Class Office will be holding their annual Spring Consignment Sale with hundreds of dresses for affordable prices. The sale will run Feb. 8-9 in the Norwin High School cafeteria from 3:30-7:00.

Coming off their most successful sale to date, the 2021 Fall Consignment Sale, junior class cffice and their adviser, Mrs. Danae Brentzel-Martina are hopeful this sale will be just as successful, if not more.

The Fall Consignment Sale had a record number of merchandise sold. In total, 42 items were sold, 38 being dresses.

As for the spring sale, Class Office will have their usual stock of about 400 dresses. Sizes range from 00-20+ and dresses from designers like Sherri Hill and Jovani will be for sale.

“Typically for the spring sale, we get more dresses consigned than the fall,” said Brentzel. “I’m expecting at least 100 consigned dresses in addition to our usual inventory.”

If you would like to donate or consign, dresses will be accepted until Feb. 4 with more information on the Norwin Consignment Sale website linked below.

By having these sales, junior class cffice and Brentzel hope to connect as many people with their dream dress as possible.

“I found my snoball dress at the consignment sale and automatically knew it was the one,” said senior Madison Butina. “I fell in love with the selection and everything was super affordable. I can’t wait to go back and find my prom dress!”
