Joe is a current junior at Norwin and is a second year writer for the Knight Krier. He plays soccer and runs track for the Knights. Joe is also a member of the global scholar program and is the junior class president. He likes to be involved with his community and volunteer when he can.

1. The Game: It’s the eve of Homecoming and everyone is excited for the next day, and to add to it all the whole school has a football game to watch. The homecoming football games is one of the most anticipated events of the school year. People of all walks come to this game whether that be to watch some football, see the band, or just hang out with friends it’s fun no matter what. The homecoming game is one of those events that embodies Highschool the good and the bad. In the end it’s what I think students look forward to most.

Norwin students came out in droves to support their Lady Knights in a championship winning effort.

Coach Joseph Oestreich has stuck with the Knights as a coach for over 10 years and earned his third WPIAL title on Friday.

Lauren Palangio put up 12 points, alongside 15 rebounds in her standout senior performance on Friday. Palangio was awarded game MVP honors for her effort.

Brian Brozeski became the first Norwin basketball Head Coach to win 3 WPIAL titles (Post-1958) on Friday.

Bailey Snowberger suited up for the final time in WPIAL play on Friday. Snowberger will attend Holy Cross for Softball.

Kendall Berger put up 10 in the winning effort against North Allegheny, including this third quarter layup.

The Lady Knights topple each other in celebration as the horn sounded on Friday.

Kendall Williams battled through adversity this season, tearing their ACL mid season. Williams saw the court on Friday in the final seconds to celebrate with the rest of the senior Knights.
