Q: How did you get into photography?
A: I’ve always been drawn to photography and taking pictures, but I really got into it when I wanted to explore digital cameras and push myself creatively with more intention. Soon I would like to try film photography.
Q: What is your favorite thing about photography?
A: I have multiple favorite things about photography, one is being able to capture moments through my own perspective. That allows me to express my creativity and vision best and shows others how I see the world in a way that’s unique to me. I also like how different every shot can be. There is so much I can do with my camera that I still haven’t done or experimented with. Photography has also helped me grow a business and get opportunities with the Riverhounds professional team in the summer. I’ve even partnered with some high school sports teams. I love the networking and communication aspect too. I’m always meeting talented people, and they’re always willing to help me.
Q: What is one thing you have learned from photography?
A: Patience. Editing can take a lot of time. Wildlife photography also requires a lot of patience because of how long it can take to get a shot/a good shot.
Q: What do you take pictures of?
A: Lately, I have been doing sports photography the most. I also take pictures of flowers, the moon, waterfalls, portraits, wildlife, and for my church.
Q: What camera do you use?
A: I use the Canon R6 Mark III. It’s a professional Canon camera that’s amazing for sports and wildlife photography. As for lenses, I use the RF 70-200mm 2.8, RF 50mm 1.8, and RF 100-400 5.6-8.
Q: What do your family and friends think of your photography?
A: My family and friends seem to love my photography. My parents heavily invested in my future by helping me be able to get the gear i have. My family is always proud of me, especially my older brother George. I always try to send some pictures to my family and also post them on my photography social media account.
