Miya Valecko, Writer/Editor
Miya is a second-year senior writer of the Knight Krier and Newspaper. She is largely involved with the Norwin High School Community as President of Honors Society Office, Global Scholars member, and Newspaper Journalist. This year, Miya enjoys spending the majority of her time organizing the annual Powderpuff event for the second year in a row. Some interesting facts about Miya is that she does powerlifting, scoops ice cream at her job, and loves cows! She prioritizes spreading the correct information about what is going on at Norwin so that the students and community are aware. Furthermore, Miya loves covering stories about Norwin Students’ accomplishments and does her best to make sure that important stories are recognized.
